Missed Dose

Storage
Tramadol must be stored at room temperature, i.e. at approximately 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) in a dry place far from light, heat and moisture sources. Store Tramadol out of the reach of children and domestic animals.
Warnings/Precautions
Tramadol is not intended for the use of those who fal into one of the following categories:
- people who have ever displayed allergy towards any of Tramadol components;
- patients who suffer from upset stomach as a side effect of antibiotics therapy;
- patients who are under alcoholic intoxication or are taking some medications that fall into the group of opioids (morphine, codeine, etc), sleep drugs, anti-anxiety or anti-depressant drugs;
- patients who are on nefazodone, carbamazepine, or sodium oxybate therapy.
Consult your doctor if you belong to one of the above mentioned groups.
Important:
- Use Tramadol with caution while taking other medicines. Avoid taking Tramadol under alcoholic intoxication. Do not drive during thee initial period of Tramadol therapy until you don't know what are the reactions of your organism towards this drug as it may cause sleepiness in some patients. Consult your doctor or other health care specialist about the drugs you are currently taking and their combinability with Tramadol.
- One of the adverse side effects of Tramadol is dizziness that may be enhanced if you are taking alcohol or some specific medications. Heat and fever may also increase this effect. To relieve dizziness avoid abrupt standing up and sitting down.
- If you need to fix some dental or surgery problems tell the medical care specialist that you are currently taking Tramadol.
- Use Tramadol with caution in the elderly; they may be more sensitive to its effects.
- Children under 16 must not use Tramadol as there is no evidence for the safety of its use in children.
- Pregnant women and those who are currently lactating should consult their doctor as for the advantages and disadvantages of Tramadol therapy.
